Bilex Minerals EA provides precious metal testing and assaying from Nairobi for clients in Kenya, across East Africa and in international markets. The laboratory receives enquiries from buyers, exporters, miners, traders, refineries and investors who need an independent technical result before purchase, settlement, export or refining.
The testing approach changes with the material. Ore and concentrates require representative sample preparation before analytical work. Doré and bullion may require prepared XRF surfaces, metallic sampling, Fire Assay or complementary physical verification. The laboratory reviews the material first rather than forcing every enquiry into one test.
Bilex performs Fire Assay, XRF, ICP OES, AAS, ICP MS, PhotonAssay, Metallic Screen Fire Assay, ultrasonic examination and density testing in house. The appropriate method is selected according to the sample form, expected concentration, whether destructive sampling is allowed and the purpose of the result.
Laboratory visits are arranged by appointment. Share the material type, approximate quantity and testing objective before travelling so the team can confirm the intake requirements and the most appropriate laboratory route.
