Gold Sourcing
Bilex Minerals EA helps buyers source physical gold by identifying selling opportunities that match defined purchasing requirements.
Our sourcing service focuses on material specifications, quantities, origin, inspection arrangements and commercial requirements. We work with buyers in Kenya, Tanzania and international markets seeking opportunities across East Africa.
Bilex Minerals EA is a licensed mineral dealer in Kenya and Tanzania. For larger sourcing enquiries, we primarily facilitate introductions between buyers and sellers.

A sourcing brief is more than a target quantity. State the required material form, acceptable purity range, approximate quantity, origin preferences, receiving destination, inspection location and planned purchase timetable. If the material must meet a refinery or end-buyer specification, provide that specification before seller outreach begins.
Bilex reviews the buying brief and identifies relevant seller opportunities for further discussion. Before a transaction proceeds, the parties must establish the seller's identity, authority to trade, material availability and appropriate verification requirements.
Record each candidate's material description, availability window, inspection location and proposed transaction role. Then agree the independent checks needed before either party commits funds. Laboratory results attach to identified samples and should be reconciled to the actual lot. A source that cannot be verified should not be promoted as a confirmed supply.

Bilex uses the brief to identify relevant opportunities for further discussion.
Bilex operates from Kenya and Tanzania and works with relevant opportunities across selected African markets. International buyers are welcome to submit defined requirements.
Potential opportunities are compared with the buying brief before an introduction is considered. Material form, available quantity, stated specification, location and the seller's readiness to provide supporting information all affect whether there is a practical basis for discussion.
Sourcing identifies a potential opportunity; it does not complete the purchase. Once a relevant seller is identified, the parties still need to agree inspection, testing, due diligence, commercial terms, payment arrangements and any transaction documentation required for their circumstances.
State whether the requirement concerns bars, bullion, nuggets or another defined form of gold.
Provide an approximate quantity so the enquiry can be compared with relevant seller opportunities.
Include the preferred purity or other material specification where one has already been defined.
Explain the intended destination, transaction timeframe and any important commercial conditions.
A seller introduction does not establish ownership, purity, documentation or the ability to complete the proposed transaction.
Buyer and seller should complete the identity, ownership, documentation, testing and commercial checks appropriate to the proposed transaction. Testing may be arranged through Bilex or another independent laboratory acceptable to both parties.
Bilex assesses the information supplied, identifies selling opportunities that match the buying brief and facilitates introductions where there is a practical basis for discussion.
An introduction is not a guarantee of availability, purchase, sale, payment, ownership, licensing, export approval or transaction completion. Each engagement proceeds within a separately agreed scope.
No. Bilex does not publish supply claims or forward every offer that reaches it. Opportunities are discussed privately after a buyer requirement has been reviewed.
Bilex considers enquiries for gold bars, bullion and nuggets from approximately 100 grams upward.
Gold sourcing is intended for buyers with a defined purchasing brief who need help identifying relevant selling opportunities. The Buy Gold page provides a broader starting point for buyers making an initial enquiry.
