1. Website Information

The Website provides information about precious-metals testing, laboratory enquiries and appointments, document verification, market access, trade and export support, and educational resources. Website content is general information and is not a substitute for a written quotation, laboratory instruction, contract, regulatory decision or professional legal, tax, financial or investment advice.

The Website is hosted in the United States. Bilex operates from East Africa and may make the Website available internationally.

2. Eligibility and Acceptable Use

You must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to use the Website. If you use it on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to act for that organisation.

• Use the Website only for lawful purposes and provide accurate information when contacting us.
• Do not interfere with security, availability or operation; introduce malicious code; attempt unauthorised access; scrape or systematically extract content; impersonate another person; or misuse another person's information.
• Do not use the Website to advertise or offer unrelated goods or services, submit unlawful or misleading material, or infringe intellectual-property, privacy or other rights.

3. Enquiries and Appointments

Submitting a form, sending a message or requesting an appointment does not create a contract, confirm availability, commit Bilex to accept material or guarantee that a service can be provided. An appointment or engagement is confirmed only when Bilex communicates confirmation and any applicable requirements, scope, timing, price and payment terms.

The Website does not provide an online checkout. Purchases, service fees, payment arrangements, delivery, custody and other commercial terms are agreed separately where applicable.

4. Laboratory and Sample Limitations

Laboratory results apply only to the sample received or prepared, the portion tested, the method used and the conditions stated in the relevant report. A result does not by itself establish ownership, lawful origin, chain of custody, value, market acceptance, regulatory approval or the composition of untested material.

Sampling, preparation, homogeneity, contamination, surface conditions and the limitations of a method may affect how a result should be interpreted. Any service-specific report, scope or written agreement may contain additional limitations that form part of the engagement.

5. Document Verification

The document-verification feature is intended to indicate whether submitted reference information matches a record made available by Bilex. A positive match does not independently confirm identity, ownership, payment, authority, government approval, authenticity of material, present validity outside Bilex's records or the actions of any third party.

You must independently verify parties, authority, licences, permits, custody, banking instructions and transaction documents appropriate to your circumstances. Do not rely on a screenshot, forwarded message or copied verification result as a substitute for direct verification.

6. Intellectual Property

Bilex or its licensors own the Website's design, branding, text, images, videos, graphics, reports, software and other content, except where otherwise stated. You may view and print reasonable extracts for personal or internal business evaluation. You may not reproduce, modify, sell, republish, remove notices from or commercially exploit Website content without prior written permission.
